All the 42 bodies in the Naivasha disaster will now be subjected to DNA testing.
36 of those bodies are lying at the Chiromo mortuary, while 6 are at the Kenyatta University Mortuary. The director of the National Disaster Centre Nathan Kigotho says bodies will be released for burial after two weeks. Meanwhile, families are still flocking at the Chiromo to identify loved ones. The Kenya Redcross has set up an information centre to receive families.
